2008 HIGH SCHOOL AWARDEES

NASA Fundamental Aeronautics Student Competition, 2007-2008
High School Division Results

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FLY HIGH IN NASA AERONAUTICS COMPETITION
Press release (PDF)

Feature is Live: Fundamental Aero Contest Winners

Congratulations to each student or team that entered the contest.
Entries were received from 15 different nations, including the United States.
Over 140 students participated from 50 different schools across the globe.

Each entry was read and evaluated by a team of NASA engineers from the four aeronautics centers:  Ames Research Center, Dryden Flight Research Center, Glenn Research Center, and Langley Research Center.  The highest average scores were used to rank the entries and determine the winners.

Congratulations to all that entered and special congratulations to those who achieved award level rank.

We thank each of the students for their interest in and enthusiasm for aviation and the future of aeronautics.   To use a phrase from one of the team entries:
"The future is not something we enter.  The future is something we create."
Quoted from Leonard Sweet
