HIGH SCHOOL AWARDS

NOTE: ONLY US CITIZENS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR MONETARY PRIZES

Each student, foreign or domestic, will receive a NASA Certificate if their entry is valid.*
*Any entry with plagiarized material will be disqualified and will not be eligible for certificates.

Top rated videos, regardless of country of origin, may be shown on NASA web sites and at other NASA venues.

ELIGIBLE entries that receive the highest overall scores will receive trophies and prizes.
Prize amount are subject to available funds. 

We expect to be able to make the following awards to the ELIGIBLE high school winners in each category; however, prizes are subject to available funds.

  • First prize, Team entry: $1500 to the team
  • First prize, Individual entry: $1000
The following awards will be for ELIGIBLE individuals or teams. Amounts will be determined based on available funds:
  • Second prize
  • Third prize
  • Honorable mention

Foreign students may win trophies and certificates.

In the case of a tie, prizes will be determined based on available funds.

Prizes are awarded through a university and will be distributed by check approximately 60 days after the winners are announced.
