The Aeronautics Academy was discontinued by NASA HQ ARMD in the summer of 2015. A new team initiative, MARTI was created by NASA HQ ARMD for the years of 2015 and 2016. MARTI was discontinued by NASA HQ in March 2017. In 2017, a Langley led team was established on the the existing agency NASA Academy model.
